SUMMARY:Vrnjačka Banja Carnival
DESCRIPTION:Since the early 1960s\, Vrnjačka Banja has carried the spirit of carnival tradition. Revived in 2005 by the Tourist Sports Center\, the International Vrnjačka Banja Carnival has grown into one of the region’s most vibrant cultural events. Featuring parades\, concerts\, children’s programs\, and international carnival groups\, it attracts thousands of participants and visitors each year. Today\, as a proud member of the Federation of European Carnival Cities (FECC)\, Vrnjačka Banja holds a prominent place on the world carnival map.

SUMMARY:Pag summer carnival
DESCRIPTION:The Pag Carnival is one of the most cherished traditions of the island’s community — a time for gathering\, celebration\, and preserving the cultural heritage that “Pažani” proudly uphold. Its history stretches back for centuries\, even being mentioned in the Statute of Pag Municipality from 1433. \nToday\, the town celebrates both a Winter Carnival (held since at least 1884 in its current form) and a Summer Carnival (the oldest in Croatia\, dating from 1959).\nCentral to the festivities are unique local customs such as Rićavac\, Paška robinja\, Paško kolo\, traditional songs\, the “funeral” and burning of Marko\, folk costumes\, and Paški tanac. \nSince 1998\, the Carnival Association Markova kumpanija — a proud FECC member — has worked to safeguard and promote these traditions\, engaging both locals and visitors in the vibrant spirit of Pag.
