Since the creation of the FECC (1980) Luxembourg has always played a role in the federation. One of the founders was Roland Breyer from Pétange and the statutes of the FECC were studied by a notary in Pétange (1987) and registered in Luxembourg. Luxembourg founded its own section on April 19, 1989. The Luxembourg section had the honor of organizing the Dies Natalis of 1998 and 2004, and it was a pride to have organized the Convention of 2022 which is unforgettable. The most important carnival for the FECC Luxembourg is the Pétange Cavalcade, organized by KaGePe(www.kagepe.lu and info@kagepe.lu), which always takes place in the Mid-Lent. Other beautiful cavalcades take place in the Grand-Duchy as well as in Esch/Alzette, Diekirch, Schifflange, Koerich, Wasserbillig and Remich.
In 2025 the FECC Luxembourg will have 19 members and the commune of Pétange will be a category A member.
