International Frog (Žabarski) Carnival in Ivanić-Grad

Ivanić-Grad, the pride of Central Croatia, transforms into a vibrant carnival stage for the International Frog (Žabarski) Carnival — a unique celebration of tradition, imagination, rhythm and colour.

As one of Croatia’s pioneering continental carnivals, the event brings together hundreds of participants and numerous carnival groups from Croatia and other European countries, including Slovenia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Greece, Italy and beyond.

Organized by the Carnival Association “Žaba” from Ivanić-Grad, in cooperation with the City of Ivanić-Grad and the local Tourist Board, the carnival features a lively parade through the town and group presentations at the Zelenjak Sports Park.

With the participation of FECC representatives, the International Frog Carnival further highlights the spirit of friendship, cooperation and shared European carnival heritage.

The Frog is always ready to hop into Ivanić-Grad — bringing joy, creativity and carnival energy to Central Croatia. 🐸
